Kids' Triathlon

Els decided to use her platform and medical background to inspire and excite children about sports. In 2023 she attached her name to the ‘Kindertriathlon Leidsche Rijn’, a kids’ triathlon open to all 5–13-year old’s. The triathlon is designed to be fun, exciting and intended to motivate children to live an active lifestyle and stay healthy with the help of sports.

During the day, Els is on site, giving the start signal, high fiving the youngsters at the finish line, handing out medals and meeting the kids for photos and signatures. The triathlon continues to grow, and Els is visiting primary schools in the near surroundings to inspire children about doing sports.
